I just had the best dentist experience ever at Ruben's Dental in Forest Hills, NY. Considering I was a new patient, I was shocked that they could fit me in within a week to fix an old filling that had fallen out. They took X-rays (per the exam protocol), and Dr. Ruben recommended a crown and a root canal. They got me on the books a few weeks out, and I guarantee it’s because it’s a large facility with an appropriate number of staff members. I needed two procedures to complete the work, but they went well. The first visit was about two hours, but it went by so quickly. I was so relaxed, I was almost asleep! After they finished grinding my tooth down and putting on the temporary crown, I was done for the day. The numbing agent they used works really well because I felt a little pain after it wore off. During my second appointment, I was done in about a half hour, but the entire time, everyone was so considerate and warm (and not in that fake way, either). I had a problem with my insurance, but they fixed it right then. I can’t say enough good things about them - I’ll definitely be back for both my routine care and anything else that happens. Thanks to my insurance coverage and HSA, my $2,000 crown and root canal only cost me $300 out of pocket - that’s a win!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in years but decided to try out Ruben's Dental after having two emergency dentist visits. I knew it was time to get my teeth back on track, and I have nothing but good things to say about this dentist. I’ve been coming here for over five years now. When I had my first appointment, I was scared. I hate the dentist, which explains why I hadn’t gone in nearly 15 years, but they didn’t shame me at all! They put my mind at ease, went over a dental plan with me, and I went back the following week to begin the work (deep cleaning, filling cavities, etc). It was such an easy, pain-free experience! Ruben's Dental is the best dentist near me! When I moved to Forest Hills, NY, I knew I needed a new dentist. I tried one of those corporate dentists with attractive logos because they accepted my insurance. When I walked in, it felt like a store. They had videos telling you that your gums are likely in poor condition and basically getting you ready for disappointing news. The whole time I was there, I was rushed and then pressured into services, and I waited forever to see someone. My experience at Dr. Fattakhov’s office was the complete opposite! I went there for a second opinion after that horrible experience with the corporate dentist, and I’m so happy I did. Many of my friends recommended him, and even though I had to fight traffic, I was so glad I tried them! When I walked in, everyone was so inviting, informative, and friendly. The office looks super up-to-date, and they keep you distracted while they prod around your mouth. They use digital x-rays and keep your medical records on a computer. You may be able to get financing if you don’t have insurance so be sure to ask. Scheduling an appointment is super simple, and they always remind you of upcoming visits. I can’t recommend Ruben's Dental enough! Because of my dental anxiety and low income, my teeth were in rough shape when I first went to them, but the staff totally understood and helped me get back on the right track. They fixed my smile and gave me my confidence back without talking down to me like most dentists would have. They have TVs and magazines to entertain you while you wait. I’m so sad that I had to move away and can’t see Dr. Fattakhov anymore. He was the best dentist in Forest Hills, NY (and probably in the whole US). Make an appointment as soon as you can!

I’m one of this place’s first patients, I’ve been here as long as they opened. The girls are great and always make me feel relaxed, which is a big deal since I’m usually terrified of the dentist. Dr. Fattakhov is also very thorough when he explains everything to me, including what he’s going to do and what he would like to do to keep up with my dental health. He’s also very easy to talk to about anything else. My entire family loves this place, and I’ve recommended it to all my coworkers.

I broke my front crown the other day and needed some emergency dental work in Forest Hills, NY even though I was traveling for work. I had a big presentation the next day, so I needed the work done fast. I called in and they got me in immediately. I didn’t have to wait long in the waiting room at all. Dr. Fattakhov was great, and he took care of me quickly because they have a 3D scanner in the office. He was able to make a replica of my tooth and made a new crown right there in the office. I’ve never seen that before, I am very thankful.

The staff here are kind, caring, friendly and easy to talk to. The office staff, the hygienist, and the doctor are all wonderful. The office is very modern and it looks great. They really make you feel comfortable here, the dental chairs even act as massage chairs. Everyone is willing to explain things to you and answer any questions you may have. They’re very thorough. He uses a combination of a modern approach and traditional methods. This place is really great, great service and great people. I’m actually excited for my next appointment.
