Choosing a new dentist after leaving your old one is difficult, especially if you had been a patient of the previous one for many years. Before I finally settled on Dr. Shah’s practice, I had visited around to different dentists in East Orange, and none of them were right for me. I am pleased I finally chose to go with Academy Dental East Orange. They are truly nice and care immensely about your comfort and schedules. Academy Dental East Orange has been my family’s dental for many years. They are our go to problem solver when it comes to our dental needs. Everything all the way up to crowns and extractions, Dr. Shah has us covered. She and her staff describe everything that is going on and that in turn helps you feel more relaxed, being kept in the loop. They are all very calm and proficient in emergency work too. I’ve been to Academy Dental in East Orange twice now for check-ups and cleanings. The office staff is caring and easy to talk to. My wait time wasn’t long at all, no more than 5 minutes. The hygienist did the cleaning.scaling and Dr. Shah just doing an overall checkup. They are nice, professional, and gentle. I would recommend this place to anyone. The office is very big and always clean. You’re not just another patient to the staff there.
