She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She then went on to complete a 2-year Hospital Dental Residency Program and was accepted into the College of Physician and Surgeons of Columbia University at the Harlem Hospital Center soon after.

dental-implants-or-bridge

As adolescents, we lose our primary teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, in adulthood, losing teeth means poor oral health. Periodontal disease could be responsible as well. Since losing teeth at this age isn’t natural, this means problems. You could have difficulties with nutritional intake. Problems speaking could occur. Finally, you could risk impacting your smile alignment, or even smile’s stability. You need a new private dentist in Starmount, NC who can correct your tooth loss. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help find a local dentist.

First, we will connect you to a friendly dentist near you. After that, your new dentist can evaluate your smile to assess your tooth loss. For mild cases, a dental bridge could be the best option, addressing one to three missing teeth in a row. For several missing teeth, partial dentures could offer a solution and address complicated tooth loss. Finally, a complete denture or CD could be crafted and secured. While most fulls and partial dentures are removable, they could be stablized with dental implants. Dental implants are secured like natural teeth, and prevent negative changes to your maxilla and mandible and facial structure following tooth loss.

If you live in the Starmount‘s proximity and need a solution for tooth loss, let us know. We can help you get started on receiving bridges or dentures. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve lost all of your teeth, and even if years have gone by since that happened!

P. S. Please celebrate our dentists in Nashville, TN with us this week.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you have a sleep disorder, you may not assume a dentist could help. In fact, dentists can provide a noninvasive and comfortable solution to help you breathe without interruption. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that when you sleep, the soft palate and the back of your mouth collapse and cut off airflow. Patients with OSA actually stop breathing for a few seconds until the brain notices a drop in oxygen. Even if you think you slept well, you could experience daytime drowsiness! But when is it time to talk to Doctors Network to find Starmount, NC dentists who provide treatment options?

Warning signs include snoring on a nightly basis. Daytime headaches, drowsiness, and trouble with interpersonal relationships could occur too. With no treatment, the condition could even impact your immune system and your cardiovascular health. When you suffer similar symptoms, consider talking to a dentist. Sometimes, oral appliance therapy can be used to keep airways free of obstruction, so you can finally sleep well.

This week we are honoring our dental professionals near NYC.

tooth-bonding

If you have a fractured tooth or one that is misshapen or stained, then you need a cosmetic consultation. With tooth reshaping and dental bonding in Starmount, NC, these and other cosmetic imperfections can be treated in one visit. At Doctors Network, we are here to help connect you with a general dentist in Starmount, NC who takes new patients and offers cosmetic dentistry. You may not believe just how much tooth-colored fillings can correct in one sitting.

Dental filling repairs aesthetic concerns with composite resin materials. The composite resin, a mixture of glass-like and acrylic particles, is shaded and placed in several layers. Starmount cosmetic dentists also use the same material to repair dental caries. During contouring, the dentist actually buffs and sands the outer tooth enamel or restoration to correct the appearances of cosmetic concerns.

This week we are honoring our Brooklyn family dentists. Between these two procedures, these dentists can reshape malformed teeth, repair dental damage, mask stains on teeth, and even close embarrassing gaps between teeth.

As children, many of us grind our teeth for short periods of time. The issue tends to pass on its own. But for some, bruxism could mean chronic teeth grinding into and throughout adolescence, and the pressure from clenching your teeth could damage your smile. Chipped teeth and cracks could cause discomfort. You’re also more likely to develop cavities or even dental abscesses, which is why if you grind your teeth, you should consider using Doctors Network’s search tool to book an online appointment with a dental professional in Starmount.

Your significant other may let you know that you have bruxism when you sleep. Otherwise, symptoms could include jaw pain and tooth sensitivity. Treatment options vary. Some dentists bring relief by addressing the causes of teeth grinding. They could correct misalignment with orthodontics, or even replace missing teeth with prosthetics. Many offer treatment with custom and comfortable occlusal night guards. So don’t ignore the possible warning signs, talk to us about finding the right dentist in your area who accepts new patients.

You can’t put a price on showing off a perfect smile, but as we get older, many of us struggle with missing teeth. Missing teeth could lead to difficulty with eating and speaking, and can even lead to an older appearance. To treat tooth loss, people often turn to implants and fixed dentures. Unlike traditional prosthetics, such as dentures or fixed partial dentures, these are connected to posts that act as new roots. Crowns or even prosthetics like dentures are locked into these implant posts. These then act as new roots, so your new teeth can last not ten years, but far much longer with proper care and attention.

Are you ready to address unsightly gaps with dental implants? If you are wondering how much a dental implant costs near you in Starmount, you are not alone, but firstly, you need to find a Starmount dentist who can offer tooth replacement. Doctors Network can help you with this, connecting you to a dental office who not only can address your tooth loss, but also accepts patients without dental insurance. Same-day appointments are usually available. You can even register for a Doctors Network membership plan to decrease the cost of your procedure.

The dentist will take a close look at your smile. Underlying oral health concerns may need to be considered before moving forward. But once completed, your dental implants will offer new teeth that look and function like natural dentition!
