The team is incredibly polite and courteous at Smile-ist! I always get helpful reminders and I'm seen on time, every time. As they are located in Phoenix, the location can not beat. Their equipment is top of the line and they explain what they are doing and what they are seeing with regard to your personal oral health, so very detailed. At Smile-ist I always have a pleasant experience and would certainly recommend them!

My family has been going to Able Dental for about 2 years now, and we truly love it. As someone who used to work for a dentist in Phoenix, I feel as though I have enough knowledge to make an educated recommendation, and I would give this place 6 stars if I could. We have seen multiple dentists and hygienists here, and while they’re all wonderful I have to give Dr. Muscato a particular shout out, she rocks. Every visit is awesome, they truly take care of their patients here. (Even when my 8 year old son was throwing a fit). All of the staff are easy to talk to and professional. They have the latest technology to ensure you’re getting the best dental care. We never have to wait long in the waiting room, they’re very punctual. Their staff makes billing easy, even when we had questions regarding the dental plan. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

I have been going to Dr. Kunthara for 3 years, and I don’t mind the extra drive from Phoenix, because that’s how great she is. She doesn’t treat you as just a patient, but rather a friend, and listens to your opinions about the health of your mouth and teeth. She still does training for herself and her staff to make sure they always have updated information, which keeps her office at the top of its game. No two visits are ever the same, as the team continues to learn and grow as dental professionals in Mesa, AZ. The service is great and everyone is very kind. Dr. Kunthara even gives her personal cell phone number for after-hours. If I ever have a dental emergency I can call her at any time. Anyone who needs a dentist or is looking for a change should come here.

My friend recommended Mesa Dental Care and Dr. Nia and her hygienist a couple months ago, and I finally made an appointment the other day. They were very friendly on the phone, answered the questions I had about my discount dental plan that I signed up for in office, and they got me scheduled for the next week. When I got there the Patient Care Coordinator (what an awesome title) made me feel very comfortable. She went through a more detailed explanation of how my dental plan in Mesa Dental Care would work with the procedures that were going to be done. Then I met the doctors, who were even more friendly and professional than they were over the phone, which I didn’t think was possible. They walked me through the whole procedure and explained why photos and x-rays of my mouth were necessary. I think they could tell I was nervous and that I needed all the information they gave me in order to be reassured. I’ve had Mesa dentists who don’t answer my questions or tell me I need procedures that I really didn’t need, they just want to get more out of me. Dr. Nia didn’t do that. I usually hate dentists, but I’m very happy with this place’s work. I completely trust, and would recommend them to anyone, they really know their stuff.

My first time here I came in because I had intense teeth and gum pain. After x-rays and a consult with Dr. Owens, he was able to do a quick bite adjustment and I had no pain. I hate going to the dentist, but these people were great, and the service was wonderful. They made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Peoria area.

sleep-apnea-treatment

When you experience a poor sleeping pattern, you may not think a dentist could help. But in fact, dentists can provide a comfortable option to treat sleep apnea. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) means that when you sleep, the soft tissues in the throat and the tissues around the throat collapse and cut off airflow. Patients actually stop breathing for a few seconds until the brain alerts the body to resume breathing. Even if you assume you slept well, you’re actually sleep deprived! But when should you talk to Doctors Network to find Scottsdale, AZ dentists who provide treatment options?

Signs and symptoms of OSA include chronic snoring. Daytime headaches, drowsiness, and moodiness could occur too. With no treatment, OSA could impact your immune system and increase the risk of heart disease. When you experience similar symptoms, consider finding out your treatment options. Often, oral appliance therapy can be helpful as a CPAP alternative, so you can finally sleep comfortably.

This week we are celebrating our dentists in New York.

When we are kids, many of us clench our teeth for short periods of time. The issue tends to last only a few months. But for some, bruxism could mean chronic teeth grinding into and throughout adulthood, and the pressure from clenching and grinding your teeth could lead to major complications. Cracks, chips, and worn-down structures could cause discomfort. You’re also more likely to develop cavities or even dental abscesses, which is why if you have bruxism, you should consider using Doctors Network’s search tool to find a dentist in Scottsdale.

Your partner or spouse may let you know you grind your teeth in your sleep. Otherwise, symptoms could include jaw pain and tooth sensitivity. Treatment options vary. Some dentists bring relief by addressing the oral health issues behind your bruxism. They could correct misalignment with clear aligners, or even replace missing teeth with dental implants. Many offer treatment with custom and comfortable occlusal night guards. So don’t ignore these symptoms, talk to us about finding the right dentist in your area who accepts new patients.

Did you ever notice popping or crackling sound in the jaw? Do you have persistent migraines? If so, this could be related to two common jaw joint issues. Around 25 million people in the United States suffer from chronic bruxism and TMJ dysfunction. Without treatment, these could not only lead to painful symptoms, but actually damage the teeth too! Fortunately, your friends at Doctors Network can find the right dentist in Scottsdale, AZ who accepts patients without dental insurance.

While very different from one another, one often increases the risk of the other. TMJ disorder develops when the joints connecting the jaw and skull are stressed. This could cause problems with jaw function. Common symptoms include pain in the jaw, head, face, and neck. Bruxism means you grind or clench your teeth nightly. The pressure could cause jaw pain and headaches. Teeth grinding could also weaken and damage the tooth structure. This damage could lead to decayed teeth, infection, and more. Both disorders could be caused by issues that upset bite balance, and untreated TMJ disorder could lead to bruxism, and vice-versa. When you have persistent pain in your head and neck, you should find help. We can even connect you with a dental professional in Scottsdale who accepts patients without dental insurance.

There are, however, multiple treatment options available; for some, relief is possible following crown placement, which improves bite balance. For others, treating misalignment with braces could ease strain and stop symptoms. The most common option most dentists offer is an oral splint, which fits like a mouthguard. If you need to find treatment from a Scottsdale dentist. then contact our team!

It is imperative for kids to visit a dental professional every six months for exams and cleanings. By teaching children how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the tools to have healthy smiles for ever. If you are looking for a kids’ dentist in Scottsdale who takes patients with no dental coverge, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering examinations and cleanings, pediatric dentists on Doctors Network also provide your little one with sealants. These are small pieces of BPA-free acrylic that dentists paint onto their molars. They work as a protective film that forms a protective layer between their permanent teeth and harmful bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of dental caries by up to 80%. It is a simple tool that is very effective at preventing the need for fillings in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your pediatric dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps bolster your child’s enamel layer. While enamel is one of the strongest substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your kid’s teeth become more susceptible to dental caries. This procedure helps mitigate this damage. Using toothpaste that has fluoride can also help. To learn more, please schedule an appointment with one of our pediatric dentists in Scottsdale.

Many people would be elated to have a whiter smile. When you stroll down the aisles of any grocery store, you see countless products that advertise their teeth whitening abilities. If you have purchased any of these, you know that they almost always provide disappointing results. However, professional tooth bleaching can actually give you a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Scottsdale, AZ that takes patients with no dental insurance, we can help you find one that offers professional tooth whitening.

When you visit your Scottsdale dental practice, they can provide you with either an in-office or at-home option. With the in-office option, you will typically be out within about an hour, and you will have noticeably whiter teeth. When you visit the office for whitening, your dentist will apply a special bleaching gel that, when activated by a special light, will get rid of stains.

If you would prefer to get whitening from the comfort of your home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe bleaching solution. You will wear these for a couple of hours each day for roughly 2 weeks. Once this treatment is over, you will have a whiter smile. If you would like to schedule an appointment online with a Scottsdale dentist that takes patients with no dental insurance, we can help you find a great one.

If it has been at least half a year since you last visited a dentist, you probably should schedule an appointment as soon as possible. When you go in for consistent dental checkups, your dentist can closely examine your smile to make sure nothing is amiss. This helps prevent carious lesions from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more invasive procedures down the road. If you need to schedule a checkup with a dentist in Scottsdale, AZ that takes self-pay patients we can help you find a great match.

To begin your visit, a hygienist will clean your teeth thoroughly. This will remove plaque and tartar that is tough to remove at home — even with great brushing and flossing habits. The cleaning will leave your smile feeling fresh and rejuvenated.

Once your cleaning is done, your Scottsdale dentist will begin his or her examination. During this portion of your consultation, the dentist will thoroughly look at your teeth to identify any potential problems. In case anything is out of the ordinary, they can suggest the proper treatment. The Scottsdale dentist we set you up with will offer comprehensive services to address a variety of dental conditions. If you attend regularly scheduled checkups they can keep track of the health of your mouth. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a consultation with a dentist that works with self-pay patients, we can help you find a great one.

While it’s a popular spot for vacationing and a well-known state to raise a family, Arizona is also highly attractive for seniors and retirees. In fact, 17% of the overall population is over the age of 65 years old, and many of them experience unique oral health concerns such as periodontal disease and tooth loss. Regardless of age, regular dental care can prove costly, and when complex periodontal treatment or lifelike tooth replacement is necessary, those costs can grow exponentially. Therefore, Doctors Network offers highly affordable, direct dental plans that can save Arizonians significantly on the costs of their dental treatment, all for a consistently low monthly fee.
