As kids, we lose our baby teeth as a natural part of growing up. However, in adulthood, losing teeth is caused by oral health issues. Gum disease leads to major tooth loss. Since missing teeth at adulthood isn’t natural, this means issues with smile stability. You could have problems consuming solid foods. Problems speaking could occur. Finally, you could risk negative changes to your smile, or even your facial structure. You need a skilled in-network dentist in Cedar Rapids, IA who can replace missing teeth. Fortunately, Doctors Network can help locate one.

First, we will connect you to an experienced dentist in your area. Then, your new dentist can evaluate your smile to assess your tooth loss. For minor cases, a dental bridge could be placed, providing lifelike results. For multiple gaps, partial dentures could offer a solution and address complicated tooth loss. Finally, a complete denture could be crafted and secured. While most fulls and partial dentures are removable, they could be supported with long-lasting dental implants. Dental implants essentially look and function like natural teeth, and stimulate bone preservation in your mandible and maxilla and facial structure following losing a tooth.

If you live in the Cedar Rapids‘s neighborhoods and have unsightly gaps in your smile, let us know. We can get you started on receiving bridges or dentures. A full smile is possible, even if you’ve suffered complete tooth loss, and even if years have elapsed since that happened!

P. S. Please applaud our dental professionals in Nashville, TN with us this week.

When you have lost a tooth, it is essential to fill in the gap as quickly as possible. While there are clear aesthetic benefits, replacing your tooth can also help support the health of your gums and mouth in general. The process of completing your smile may seem unnerving, but a bridge is a simple yet effective way to deal with either a single missing tooth or several that are next to each other. If you are looking for a dentist in Cedar Rapids, IA that accepts your insurance we can help you find one that can provide you with a bridge.

When you visit your Cedar Rapids dental practice, they can decide if a dental bridge is ideal for you. As noted, dental bridges are typically used when someone has either a single missing tooth or several missing teeth next to one another. This is because this prosthetic is usually supported by existing teeth that are equipped with crowns to provide additional support. Because it is held in place by existing teeth, this option is a more permanent solution.

Dental bridges are often made with high-quality, bio-compatible porcelain that looks just like your real teeth. This ensures that your prosthetic seamlessly blends in with the rest of your smile. Before your one-of-a-kind bridge is made, your dentist will take precise images of your smile, so it will be crafted to your exact needs. If you would like to schedule an appointment with a Cedar Rapids dental practice that accepts your insurance, we can help you find a fantastic one.

To safeguard the function, health, and beauty of your smile, you need help from a good dental practice near Cedar Rapids, and we can help you find local dental practices that accept dental insurance!

What happens when gaps appear in your smile? Well, the surrounding teeth could drift from position, leading to crooked or crowded teeth. The pressure on your jaw joints and bite balance could lead to painful complications, like TMJ disorder or bruxism. You could have difficulty eating your favorite foods, and speaking clearly could become complicated as well. But the most severe complication is the loss of mass and density in the jawbone. This means that you could suffer further tooth loss. In addition, a prematurely aged appearance could arise! But help is available, as Cedar Rapids dental professionals could discuss custom-made bridges and dentures, and select treatment options that could be covered with dental insurance.

Dental bridges could address minor tooth loss. All on 4 dental implants could treat more severe cases with full and partial options. For the most lifelike and durable option, you could find the best Cedar Rapids dentists who offer dental implants. Don’t let missing teeth complicate your daily life, and talk to our team about finding an implantologist!

It is essential for kids to visit the dentist twice a year for dental visits and cleanings. By teaching your children how to take care of their teeth, you are ensuring that they have the skills to have healthy smiles for ever. If you are looking for a dentist in Cedar Rapids who accepts uninsured patients, you are on the right website.

In addition to offering examinations and cleanings, dentists on Doctors Network also provide your child with dental sealants. Sealants are thin layers of film that go on top of their back teeth. They work as a protective film that forms a barrier between their molars and bacteria. This ultimately prevents the risk of dental caries by up to 80%. It is a simple procedure that is very effective at preventing cavities in the future.

Fluoride treatments are another effective tool that your kids’ dentists provide. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that helps bolster your children’s enamel. While enamel is one of the most durable substances our bodies produce, it can still weaken over time. When this occurs, your child’s teeth become more susceptible to damage. This procedure helps mitigate this damage. Using fluoride toothpaste can also help. To learn more, please schedule an appointment with one of our pediatric dentists in Cedar Rapids.

Many people would be elated to have a whiter smile. When you walk down the aisles of any grocery store, you see myriad products that promote their teeth whitening abilities. If you have purchased any of these, you know that they almost always provide unsatisfying results. However, professional tooth bleaching can actually produce a brighter smile. If you are looking for a dentist in Cedar Rapids, IA that takes uninsured patients, we can help you find one that offers professional teeth whitening.

When you visit your Cedar Rapids dentist, they can provide you with either an in-office or at-home treatment. If you choose the in-office treatment, you will have brighter teeth within about an hour. For this option, your dentist will apply a gel solution to your teeth that they will then activate with a special light, to remove stains.

If you would prefer to choose whitening from the comfort of your home, your dentist will give you a set of custom trays that you can fill with a safe peroxide solution. You will put these on for a few hours each day for roughly two weeks. Once this treatment is complete, you will have a whiter smile. If you would like to schedule an appointment with a Cedar Rapids dentist that accepts uninsured patients, we can help you find a fantastic one.

If it has been at least half a year since you last visited a dentist, you probably should schedule an appointment as soon as possible. When you go in for bi-yearly dental checkups, your dentist can closely examine your smile to make sure nothing is wrong. This helps prevent tooth decays from occurring, minimizing the chance of needing more expensive procedures in the future. If you are looking for a dentist in Cedar Rapids, IA that accepts self-pay patients we can help you find a great practice.

When you visit your dentist for a checkup, they will start with a thorough cleaning. This will remove plaque and tartar that is tough to remove at home — even with great brushing and flossing habits. The cleaning will leave your smile feeling fresh.

Once your cleaning is done, your Cedar Rapids dentist will begin his or her examination. During this portion of your visit, the dentist will thoroughly look at your teeth to identify any potential problems. If they find anything amiss, they will explain your treatment options. The Cedar Rapids practice we set you up with will offer comprehensive services to address a variety of dental conditions. If you visit the dentist regularly they can keep track of the health of your mouth. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a consultation with a dentist that accepts self-pay patients, we can help you find a great one.

Resting comfortably between the Missouri and Mississippi rivers, Iowa is home to over 3.1 million people, including the nation’s 31st president, Herbert Hoover. The state is also full of the unexpected. For instance, most visitors are surprised to learn that the state is not completely flat, or that its rolling cornfields are nestled next to the country’s highest concentration of wind turbines. Now, residents across the Hawkeye State are increasingly surprised to learn that they don’t have to pay incredibly high prices for the high-quality dental care they deserve. As part of Doctors Network, dentists across Iowa are now able to offer their patients direct dental plans as an alternative or a supplement to dental health insurance.

As one of America’s friendliest states, Iowa is one of the best places to raise a family. In fact, more than 23% of the population is under the age 18, and the average household is home to a family of at least three. Therefore, keeping the costs of high-quality dental care manageable are especially important to maintaining a high quality of life. Fortunately, less than six percent of the population lacks insurance, although even dental insurance is not always enough to cover the totality of a family’s dental health care costs. By signing up with Doctors Network, Iowa dentists can offer direct dental plans that grant patients access to substantial savings in all areas of their dental care. Patients without insurance rely on direct dental plans to keep treatment prices reasonable, while patients with insurance can further control the costs of their care and eliminate extravagant out-of-pocket expenses.

I'm a freelancer, so I can't buy insurance easily, so I always ended up paying a lot for doctors' visits. I signed up for a Doctors Network dental plan, and my dental cleanings cost only $25 now. If you don't have dental insurance I highly recommend it.
